*Don't miss to try my style Naatu Kozhi Biryani for this Deepavali 🪔✨
Veetla seyalame, kadai taste la! Save this recipe and try for Deepavali!

Ingredients:

For Rice:
- 4 cups Seeraga Samba Rice - Wash & soak for 30 mins

*For Marination - 1.5 kg Country Chicken:*
- 1.5 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Curd
- 3 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 10 Kashmiri Red Chillies - Soaked & ground
- 1 tsp Biryani Masala - Grind 8 Cardamom, 8 Cloves, 5 small Cinnamon sticks

Marinate for 30 mins.

For Biryani:
- 250 ml Oil + 50 ml Ghee
- 4 Onions - Sliced
- 30 Shallots - Ground
- Handful Mint & Coriander leaves
- 5-6 Green Chillies
- 3 Tomatoes - Ground
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder

Method:

1. Heat oil + ghee in biryani pot. Add onions & ground shallots, fry till golden brown.
2. Add mint, coriander & green chillies. Saute well.
3. Add ground tomatoes, turmeric & chilli powder. Cook till oil separates & masala browns nicely like in video.
4. Add marinated chicken, saute & close for 5 mins in medium flame. Add 1.5 cups water and cook for 15 mins till meat is cooked.
5. Now for rice water - Ratio is 1:2. For 4 cups rice, we need 8 cups total. Already added 1.5 cups for chicken, so now add only 6 cups water.
6.Once water boils, check salt. Add soaked rice (drain water 10 mins before).
7. Close & cook for 10 mins in medium flame. Open, mix gently, add 4 tsp ghee.
8. Close & keep in dum for 25 mins like I showed in video.

And your super flavourful Naatu Kozhi Biryani is ready! 😋🔥
