i think of you all the time. i miss you so much joel and i know everyone else misses you just as much.. you were such a goofy character and always such a great energy to be around. we needed you but God needed you more. it’s hard to accept that time will just keep going on and that you won’t be coming back but i know in my heart that you watch over us and you are laughing with us in all of the moments. i’ll never not think of you when i hear “low rider” lol i love you “George Lopez”🤣🩷

Some betrayals don't happen in a single moment. They happen slowly, through the little things you never thought you'd have to question. The late replies, the changed behaviour, the distant conversations, and the feeling that something isn't right, even when they keep telling you everything is fine. 💔 And the worst part? You don't want to believe it. You keep looking for reasons to trust them. You convince yourself that maybe they're just going through something. You ignore the signs because the thought of losing them hurts more than the truth. But deep down, you already know. You knew when their eyes stopped meeting yours. You knew when their words no longer matched their actions. You knew when loving them started feeling like begging for the bare minimum. And still, you stayed. You stayed because you remembered the person they used to be. You stayed because of the promises, the late-night conversations, the little moments, and all those beautiful memories you thought meant something. You weren't asking for perfection. You weren't asking them to never make mistakes. You were just asking them not to destroy something you were genuinely trying to protect. When they finally admitted what happened, perhaps you weren't even surprised. You were just heartbroken that the person you trusted enough to never hurt you became the very person you needed healing from. And even then, you wanted to talk. You wanted answers. You wanted to understand why your love wasn't enough for them to be honest. But sometimes, no explanation can undo what someone has done. The hardest goodbye isn't always the one where you stop loving someone. Sometimes, it's the one where you still love them, still miss them, still wish things could have been different, but finally understand that staying would mean hurting yourself over and over again. So you leave. Not because you never cared. Not because the memories meant nothing. Not because moving on is easy. Drop The Hammer 📽 by @forestpostcards Hammerhead worm hunts a slug If you can’t tell which of these animals is the hammerhead worm, it's the one with the head that resembles a half moon or shovel. Come to think of it, shovelhead worm sounds even cooler, and if the hammerhead shark didn't already exist, it may have been named the shovelhead worm - but we will never know now will we. Anyway, they don't have eyes… I mean, that's not technically true but they can’t see images, they are more for detecting light. The certainly don’t use them to hunt, they would starve, no instead they use that flat part of their head like a nose/tongue combo, tasting and smelling their surroundings by sweeping their heads back and forth until they pickup on something, like the slime trail left behind by this slug All that's left to do is follow the trail until it reaches the slug who left it and attach itself so it can’t get away. The mouth of the worm is located on its midsection, not on its head - It sits in the middle of the worm's belly.
