Hey,
For years, I kept myself busy with a million different things—anything to avoid chasing what truly mattered to me: becoming a full-time photographer.
I’ve been serious about photography since my twenties, but I never had the courage to go all in.
Why?
Just because I was scared to fail.
Photography is what I love the most to do, and I didn’t want to find out that maybe… I wasn’t good enough.
But time changes you. You get older, you have less to lose… and more to regret.
Last summer, I quit my job thinking: This might be your chance. Take it. But time passed, and people kept asking the same questions: What about your website? Do you have clients? Are you making progress?
I was shooting, yes. But I wasn’t sharing anything. Same old fears, same bad habits—scared to fail… or maybe even to succeed.
And then, one day, something shifted. I can’t explain it, but I just decided to stop overthinking and start doing. Post, shoot, post again.
I also want to thank my Sam
@samanthaphotographyco for all these great pictures of me. She’s one who inspired me a lot since my debut and one of the most important people in my life. I can’t say thank you enough Sam for all your support.
This time, I’m all in, you can follow and support me if you want and didn’t do it yet, here :
@bo.rismeyer I wanted to share this because I know I’m not the only one. Maybe this can inspire you or help you find your own path.
In the end, everything depends on you.
Cheers,
Bō
