The petrol price will drop by a mere 1c per litre overnight as a massive increase in the slate levy cancels out the relief on the general fuel levy granted by Treasury. Diesel will, however, drop by between a rounded R1.10 and R1.20 per litre at wholesale level. The slate levy feeds the Slate Fund, which is used to refund fuel importers for the difference between what they actually pay for fuel on open markets and the regulated price at which they may sell it. The Slate Fund’s balance at the end of September was almost -R16 billion, which necessitated an increase of 48.14c per litre in the levy, bringing it to 135.64c per litre. More at the link in bio.
Special evening addition. Our little project is going very well just as said it would. We all made this happen. #election#houseofrepresentatives#vote#manifest#music

Halloween is one of the most anticipated holidays of the year, celebrated every October 31 with costumes, haunted houses, scary movies, and massive amounts of candy. What started centuries ago as a seasonal tradition has evolved into a huge celebration where people of all ages dress up, decorate their homes, and participate in trick-or-treating. In the United States alone, consumers spend billions of dollars annually on Halloween-related purchases, making it one of the biggest seasonal shopping events. One of the most entertaining parts of Halloween is seeing the unexpected things people hand out to trick-or-treaters. While chocolate bars, gummies, and sour candies are popular choices, some households give away unusual snacks, homemade treats, or ridiculously small portions of candy. Sour Patch Kids, in particular, have become a Halloween favorite thanks to their combination of sour sugar coating and sweet gummy flavor. Getting an individually wrapped piece instead of an entire bag might genuinely be one of the most disappointing trick-or-treating experiences imaginable. 😭🍬 #Halloween #TrickOrTreat #Candy
