A rainy Wednesday in Tokyo ☔💕 Woke up wondering what to wear, then almost stepped into a huge puddle on my way to work! 😅 Mountains of paperwork were waiting for me, but a little stretch and a warm coffee kept me going. ☕💼 And yes… I couldn't resist a delicious Japanese pork bun on my way home! 🤭❤️ Now I'm finally cozy at home, listening to the rain outside. 🌧️🏠 Even rainy days have their little pleasures, don't they? 💕
Question in the comments was - do I miss football and do I have any regrets never making it to the @nfl. I always say making it to the NFL was the best thing that never happened for me. Invaluable lessons that I learned from failing, that also put a lifelong chip on my shoulder that has become my guardian angel. And at times my radical devil 😈 Dreams ain’t just for dreamers, but they also don’t always work out. And so much is truly out of our control. But what will always be in our control, is how we respond when life kicks you in the teeth. Wipe your blood away, move on, and keep putting in the work with your two hands. Scar tissue and calluses are life’s blessings. And yes I’m a champion and advocate for NIL, as I want all college players - and all of you out there - to make as much 💰 as you can, doing what you love. We have to keep an eye on things and see where we need to make wise amendments but my first priority will always be the players, actors, all the ones who are in front of the line pulling the wagons for the world to see.
Wifisfuneral responds after Ski Mask calls him out for dating XXXTentacion’s baby mother, then Ski drops a diss track. The exchange began after Wifisfuneral, a longtime friend and former collaborator of XXXTentacion, revealed that he had gone on a date with Jenesis Sanchez, the mother of the late rapper’s son, Gekyume Onfroy. The revelation shocked many fans, who questioned how someone once close to XXXTentacion could pursue a relationship with the mother of his child. Ski Mask the Slump God publicly reacted, calling him out and accusing him of previously attempting to perform “voodoo” on the late rapper. Hours later, Ski released a diss track titled “I Don’t Have WiFi,” aimed directly at Wifisfuneral.
“Whenever I think we have made progress, you will still have to fight for your story to be told.” Jenan Matari and Alana Hadid have withdrawn their children’s book about Palestine set to be published by Penguin Random House shortly before its scheduled release, following editorial disputes. Speaking to Middle East Eye, Matari explained that they pulled the manuscript after an editor at Random House added a line about the Hamas-led attack on 7 October 2023 without their approval: “These actions were a violation of international law.”
