' Dreams of a Life ' - Harrowing, but essential viewing. A good documentary should sit with you and make you think. This does that in droves.

‘For Sama’ is a gut-wrenching documentary told through actual footage of a would-be mother trying to flee Syria during the war. It’s such a raw unedited look at how war devastates the everyday lives of regular folk.

If you want to ruin someone’s year, recommend Dear Zachary – the most devastating piece of media I’ve seen 💔

Mad coincidence—I just recorded a song inspired by The Deepest Breath! Such a powerful documentary, it really stuck with me. The whole idea of freediving, the silence, the weightlessness… ended up turning into a song. If you’re curious, you can check it out here: seanteahan.com/freediving/. Would love to know what you think!
