Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke not only erases her own history, now she is rewriting ours. Our huge history in slavery, colonialism, has already been lwhitewashed or erased, denied or buried. It has taken huge work and a long walk to get black historical accounts added to the record and taught in state schools, and only then during black history month. (Not in private schools) And. Now this. Her view on reparations is equally sickening. We have been paying reparations to slave OWNERS, the equivalent of £billions to slave owners since 1833, only finally paying off that debt in 2015, taxpayers money paid that debt. And she won’t even offer an apology to the families of those enslaved, slaughtered, and destroyed?! Aghast. #uk #blm #british #empire #slave
Güney Kore’de bizi karşılayan sıcaklık ve samimiyet, iki millet arasındaki köklü kardeşliğin en güzel ifadesidir. 📍 Resmî Karşılama Töreni The warm and heartfelt welcome we received in the Republic of Korea is a beautiful reflection of the deep-rooted bonds of brotherhood between our two nations. 📍 Official Welcoming Ceremony, Republic of Korea
Some stories are written in moments, others are kept in memories. Mine found its way into this dress, where every detail holds a little meaning and every thread carries a piece of our story🥹 Thank you ciii @christiebasill , for understanding my story and turning it into something more beautiful than I could have imagined🥹🤍
