🚫 Here are 3 super common things that I avoid when traveling 🙅🏻♀️🚫 :
1️⃣ I DO NOT buy a local sim card (nor do I use an esim) most of the time. For most of my journeys, the wifi in hostels and restaurants is more than enough. When out, I just enjoy the place.
2️⃣ I DO NOT plan or book anything more than 3-4 days in advance. Bad weather, sickness, or just desire to stay, we never know how it goes.
3️⃣ I DO NOT choose the shortest way to go somewhere. I'll always prefer to go on a 10-hour bus ride through the mountains rather than take a flight. Seeing the changing landscape, getting used to altitude, environment... so many reasons !
