A major point of west Genny is eliminating positions. Having attackmen play defense is a key aspect of the drill. Having defensemen handle the ball and make quick decisions with the ball in their stick is a key aspect to the drill. This drill is fine, but not comparable to West Genny since they focus on different things entirely.

Two different types of drills. Both are excellent. Both emphasize different aspects of the game. Include all the game play drills you can into your practices. West Genesee Alumni and player Good luck this season coach.

This drill is in no way better than west genny from a players standpoint. It may be more beneficial for skills but it’s 1/2 as enjoyable at best.
