i turned 20 today! but i wanna talk about an amazing woman in honor of women’s history month who passed away today too. my nana was a badass woman. she raised 4 kids all on her own in india with no help from anyone on a teacher’s salary. she was a gift to her students and to this world and every day she inspired me with her spunk and wisdom. im lucky that my birthday is now not only the day to celebrate my ever continuing life but also the day that i can celebrate the amazing life she had. while a somber start to a new decade, im in awe of the life she had and hope shes proud of the one i continue to lead. ❤️
