Had a blast bringing this one to life. My client asked me to make a Norse mythology themed ring (specifically Odin themed). I was beyond excited to start drawing up some designs. I put the Helm of Awe of the top which represents protection and strength. I have odins eye on the bottom in which he sacrificed one of his eyes to gain wisdom and knowledge. I also have Odins two ravens Huginn and Muninn featured on the sides who fly around gathering information to bring back to Odin.
I did my first sand casting with this ring as well!! Started by carving wax into the shape of the ring I wanted then sand casted that, followed by a BUNCH of filing and sanding. Then started on the engraving!
