The second chapter of #TerraformaExo infiltrates the fabric of the city not by imposing new forms but by amplifying the possibilities hidden within its existing structures, aligning with Studio XYZ’s ongoing investigation into how architecture can shape contemporary experiences.

Building on Cedric Price’s practice, Exo sees architecture as a catalyst for change rather than a static form. Like Price’s unbuilt #FunPalace, the festival prioritizes flexibility, letting activity shape space. Through collaboration with @atlas_of_change Exo also engages with questions of sonic ecology, investigating the relationship between sound, infrastructure, and environmental transformation.

A shift from open-air experimentation to the intensity of the club, exploring how sound reshapes urban space.

★ ROME, September 27, Forte Antenne
A 19th-century military structure, now overtaken by vegetation, becomes a stage for site-specific performances engaging with its evolving material identity.

★ PALERMO, October 25, Villa Tasca
An aristocratic estate surrounded by citrus groves provides the setting for the final chapter, reflecting on the tension between preservation and reinvention.

If technology is the answer, Exo insists on questioning—unearthing the hidden potential of spaces rather than dictating their use. Infiltrating cities without imposing, it treats architecture as a living process, shaped by sound, movement, and the shifting needs of those who inhabit it.
