WHAT IS OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM DOING TO THESE YOUNG WOMEN?

🚨 7 MONTREAL POLICE OFFICERS FIRED FOLLOWING SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS, INCLUDING RACISM!

Montreal’s police department (SPVM) has dismissed seven officers following months of serious allegations involving racism, discrimination, and misconduct.

According to Le Journal de Montréal, five officers were stationed at PDQ 39 in Montréal-Nord, while two others worked at PDQ 21 in downtown Montreal.

The controversy began earlier this year when allegations surfaced that certain officers had targeted Black and Arab residents, made racist remarks, and even allegedly cut pieces of people’s dreadlocks to keep as trophies.

Other troubling allegations involving SPVM officers included the reported deletion of video evidence in a domestic violence case and an incident in which an officer allegedly urinated on a person experiencing homelessness.

SPVM Chief Fady Dagher has promised transparency and accountability as investigations continue.

While seven officers have now been dismissed, the specific findings behind each dismissal have not been fully disclosed publicly.

💬 Do you think firing these officers is enough, or should more action be taken to restore public trust in Montreal’s police force?

Due to the actions of Will, two people are alive today. I can say without a doubt that he sets a standard.

"Oct 24, in Anderson CO, SC, He immediately notified dispatch, requested emergency assistance, and rushed to the burning home. After forcing entry into the smoke-filled house, Sutton located one of the residents, whom he knew was bedridden, lifted her from her bed and carried her to safety across the street.

Officer Sutton then re-entered the burning home to rescue the second resident, who had gone back inside in confusion. Before exiting, he even managed to grab several irreplaceable personal belongings, including the couple's Bible and two wedding photos."

@williamsuttonjj asked me not to say anything but I am. Will is a state LEO, jiu-jitsu black belt, collegiate-level wrestler, former MMA fighter, also on SRT and extremely knowledgeable about case law.

He is a lead @efcombatives instructor and has been an @effective.fitnesstraining member for years. Dude is an absolute unit.

All that said, a decision and taking action saved lives; while gear is cool and it can enhance one's capability. Don't get it twisted, it is not one's capability. The standard is set by the person not the items they possess.

Proud of you my friend.
