Paris becomes even more beautiful when you find someone who loves the rain as much as you do. In Midnight in Paris (2011), Gil Pender, played by Owen Wilson, discovers an unexpected connection with Gabrielle, portrayed by Léa Seydoux, through something beautifully simple: their shared love for walking through Paris in the rain. As the streets glisten beneath the city lights, their conversation reveals how two people can feel connected through the smallest details. While others hurry to escape the rain, they see something romantic and comforting in it. Directed by Woody Allen, this fantasy romantic comedy explores nostalgia, love, and the search for happiness through the enchanting atmosphere of Paris. What makes this scene so memorable is its quiet simplicity. There are no extravagant gestures or dramatic declarations. Just two people discovering that they appreciate the world in the same way. The warm streetlights, gentle rainfall, and timeless Parisian architecture create a beautiful example of cinematic visual storytelling. It’s a reminder that genuine compatibility often reveals itself through the little things, like sharing the same appreciation for a rainy evening. Because the right person might not change the weather, but they can make you fall in love with it. Save this romantic Paris moment or share it with someone you’d love to walk through the rain with. Phang: Thank you to these three gentlemen that you see on your screen right now. These gentlemen had the vision years before it was in vogue to come and give a space for independent journalism to have free, fierce, truthful reporting. Giving us a place to come. People like me and Scott MacFarlane, giving us a home to be able to be here, to have, as I call it, straight, no chaser, reporting and journalism. So that we are able to give the honest assessment and the transparency that clearly Americans have wanted, because that's the reason why we had a blue tsunami tonight.
This win is the work of thousands of Montanans who are sick of a politics that puts working people last, and who are ready to send one of our own to Washington to make it work for us. I want to thank my team, and all our supporters and volunteers who put their time, trust, and heart into this campaign. I also want to thank Aaron Flint and his family for running. Deep as our disagreements may be, democracy is about showing up, and I respect his willingness to enter this race. To all the Montanans who voted for Aaron - I’ll be fighting for you, too. To everyone who made this win happen - thank you. I promise to keep showing up, listening, and fighting for a future where every Montanan can work one good job and afford the basics, and where our wild places are protected for the Montanans who come next. Let’s show the country that true courage contains compassion, that we are so much stronger together, and that we’re ready to bend the course of this country for the better like so many Montanans have done before. So tonight, let’s celebrate the example we’ve set for the rest of the country of what working people can do together. Tomorrow, let’s get to work doing something with it.
