Happy birthday 🎂🎉❤️dear

The Department of Homeland Security has mounted an extraordinary campaign to hunt for illegal voters. But the crusade has so far resulted in the Trump administration charging only about 236 people, a minuscule share of the more than 158 million ballots cast in the 2024 election.

State audits and studies have repeatedly found that noncitizen voting is extremely rare in the U.S., and there have been no instances in which their votes are known to have swayed an election.

In the process, some noncitizens have been caught up in a disorienting and often demeaning experience: Taken by federal agents from their homes, or ordered to turn themselves in. Portrayed as criminals by the country many of them are trying to become citizens of, with their names and faces circulating online.

The New York Times contacted people whom the administration charged with violating election law. Read more about their experience at the link in our bio. Photo by Jae C. Hong/@apnews

Halle Berry’s Ex Comes for $240K in Legal Fees, Claims He Makes Just $776 a Month

Blogged by: Grace L.

Halle Berry’s ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, is now coming after her for $240,000 in legal fees as their ongoing custody battle over their 13-year-old son, Maceo, takes another expensive turn.

According to court documents, Martinez wants a judge to order the Oscar-winning actress to cover his mounting attorney expenses, claiming he does not have the financial resources to pay for the lengthy legal fight himself.

The request comes less than a week after Martinez secured a temporary custody arrangement that allows him to maintain primary physical custody of their son, while Berry continues fighting to restore their previous shared custody schedule.

Now, the disagreement is moving beyond custody arrangements and into who should be responsible for paying the attorneys involved.

In his latest filing, Martinez claims he owes $176,522.58 in outstanding legal fees. However, he is not stopping there. The French actor is also requesting an additional $63,477.42 to cover anticipated legal expenses as the former couple continues navigating their custody dispute.

Together, those amounts bring his request to exactly $240,000.

Martinez is also painting a picture of financial hardship in the documents. He claims his average monthly income from residual payments is just $776.34, despite having a career in Hollywood that includes appearances in films such as Unfaithful and S.W.A.T.

His reported expenses, however, tell a much different story.

According to his income and expense declaration, Martinez estimates that his monthly living expenses total $17,555.99. He also reports having approximately $43,206.22 spread across various financial accounts.

That means his reported monthly expenses exceed his claimed residual income by more than $16,700.

The filing raises another financial issue between the former spouses, although a judge has not yet publicly been reported to have approved his request for Berry to pay the legal bills.

The latest demand follows a particularly contentious stretch in the former couple’s custody proceedings.

Is this the ending we should expect from @yaonlylivvonce vs. @chelseaagreen at #WWECrownJewel this Saturday? 👀 #WWERaw

Must be Scorpio season 🤪😅

(PS I’m also pro meditation - you probably need both 😉)

If you really want to know how to heal your hormones or your period problems…

If you really want to THRIVE…

Sometimes, the most healing thing you can do is to say FCK OFF. 😬

Sometimes, it’s to scream or say “no”.

Sometimes, it’s to dance.

Sometimes, it’s to END THE RELATIONSHIP.

Sometimes, it’s to gather with women and howl beneath the moon. 🐺

In a world which tells us we need more discipline, more structure, and an ever-growing list of things that your nervous system needs to “regulate”...let’s dare to be different.

In a world which tells women and girls to be good and nice and kind (and to swallow their anger and their needs)…let’s sharpen our claws and bare our fucking teeth. 🐺

Our health, our hormones AND our nervous systems don’t always need more pushing, striving and hustling.

They want boundaries, safety, rest, connection, pleasure and joy. But, most of all, they want EXPRESSION.
❤️

Gabor Mate often talks about how swallowed anger is connected to dis-ease.

Over time, swallowing anger can lead to chronic stress, inflammation, hormonal issues and more. 💔

It’s especially linked to autoimmune conditions (no coincidence that the vast majority of those living with one are women), as well as many other conditions.

And so, it’s important that women are supported in uncaging their fucking rage. 🔥🔥

If you’re ready to untangle the good girl conditioning, stop apologising for your anger, and reclaim your fucking power...

I’d LOVE for you join me for Sacred Rage, a powerful online workshop where we’ll be delving deep into feminine rage - and showing your body HOW you can finally start feeling safe expressing it. Want to join us? Comment RAGE for details. 🔥🔥
