Kenyan born Huldah Momanyi Hiltsley has won a second term in the Minnesota House of Representatives, District 38A, in the United States.

The Democratic Farmer Labor Party candidate defeated Republican challenger Charlie Kistler after securing 72% of the vote.

Mělo by s člověkem souznít.

Democrats are making gains in the 2026 midterm elections, with NBC News projecting the party will take control of the House of Representatives.

The Senate race is also shifting in Democrats’ favor, with the Associated Press projecting the party will win control of the chamber. Democrats have flipped key Senate seats in states including Texas, North Carolina, Ohio and South Carolina.

The results would give Democrats control of both chambers of Congress, allowing them to play a larger role in shaping legislation and overseeing President Donald Trump’s administration.
