My story begins in the hills of Appalachia, where I was adopted as a child and raised with a fierce spirit and an eye for beauty. With nothing but a suitcase full of dreams, at just 21, I made my way to New York City alone, where I carved out a career in fashion and television — an industry as glittering as it is unforgiving.
By the age of 28, I faced unimaginable loss with the passing of both my parents, an experience that would shape my path and deepen my purpose. Yet through grief, grit, and grace, I built a life of elegance, resilience, and reinvention — eventually becoming a beloved figure in the vibrant circles of Palm Beach, Atlanta, New Canaan, and New York City.
A fierce animal lover, I shared a wonderful life with my late husband and many beloved dogs over the years — each one a companion through the highs and lows of this extraordinary journey we call life.
