A Lyft ride home on Halloween night turned into a nightmare for a Homestead woman who has survived two strokes, police say #ONLYinDADE Police say her driver made sexual advances, exposed himself in her parking lot, then tried to force his way into her apartment. A neighbor’s Ring camera helped police make the case, and he was arrested Monday. Lyft says it removed him from the app for good. Homestead’s police chief has a tip for riders: when you get in, act like you’re on the phone with someone who’s tracking your GPS. He has not been convicted. Source: NBC 6
🇫🇷Paris, France While high school students were being kettled by police as they protested outside their school, one student tried to get through the police roadblock by hiding inside a cardboard box. 🇫🇷Alors que des lycéens étaient nassés par la police lors de manifestations devant leur établissement, un élève a tenté de franchir un barrage policier en se dissimulant dans un carton. 🤣🤣🤣 Vidéo: dkryllw (Tiktok)
There is only so much you can take. I’ll get into the mechanics and logistics at another time but the generally summary is: 1. I will keep my passport 2. I’ll be in Canada 5-6 months per year 3. My business will remain here and under my direction 4. I’ll pay one final departure tax 5. Most of my income will be low to no tax moving forward (legally, yes) I will never understand why some people don’t speak up about watching their country be plundered. Anyway, Happy Halloween everyone.
