Another testament to pushing my limits 📈
This race was hot and humid 💢
I even hallucinated a few times. Looking at the walls of the porta potties, up at the clouds, and down the trail path. Everything was reverberating it was a trip 😬

Mile 28 and 42 were really tough 😮‍💨
After leaving the nature center aid station (huge shout out to @houstoncolosseumrunners), that 7-mile stretch sucked! Mud and rocks kept sticking to my shoes. I didn't pack enough nutrition, and I was about to chalk it up to a walk fest because I almost let myself beat myself. But NOPE.. @wayjohntom The legend comes outta nowhere and tells me, "Just run! Follow me. "
He literally paced me from mile 28 to 48 for 20 miles 🫡 the rain finally came in, and we took the last 5k in at a super chill pace.

I am proud to have a body and health to be able to continue doing what I love. No half-naked pictures this time, but I got several compliments on my new shirt 👕 and mustache 👨
