Could not be any more proud of my brother than I am now. We’ve had hundreds of matches together on court. Maybe thousands of hours in practices. Invariably some moments just end up becoming more than others. Today’s match and win feel like a defining moment in our time as brothers and coach/athlete partners. Watching my guy battle a seemingly perfect counterpart of an opponent all the way through a 3rd set tiebreak and find the extra gear to overcome, it hit me hard. Today Brett refused to be less than. Declined to be doubted. And I got a front row seat to the show. Proudest little brother moment.
