This, and the internet was never invented.
📱
I’ve often wondered whether life before the internet was better. Simpler, certainly. There seemed to be less noise in our lives, fewer distractions, and perhaps a little more peace in our minds. We weren’t constantly bombarded with information and opinions, chasing cheap dopamine hits with mind numbing scrolling. We had more time to ourselves, more time for one another, and perhaps a greater appreciation for the simple pleasures in life.
💻
The internet has undoubtedly given us extraordinary things, but I can’t help wondering what we’ve lost along the way. We spend so much of our lives staring at screens, often at the expense of the people around us. We have become hermits, preferring to binge on Netflix than to go out and laugh over a drink with friends and strangers. There’s irony in the fact that, in a world that’s never been more connected, we somehow seem to have become more disconnected from one another. Perhaps progress has given us a great deal, but sometimes I wonder whether a quieter, slower, more human way of living might have been worth holding on to.
What do you think?

intersection of executive decision-making and macroeconomic stability is taking center stage following recent statements regarding the ongoing conflict involving Iran. Public focus has intensified after discussions emerged indicating that expert advice regarding the severe economic risks of the conflict was explicitly sidelined. Financial analysts and consultants had previously issued warnings that such military actions could potentially trigger a global economic depression and cause crude oil prices to surge as high as $300 a barrel. As global markets react to shifting geopolitical landscapes, the debate over relying on intuitive leadership versus data-driven strategic planning continues to impact market sentiment and consumer confidence worldwide.
How do you think leadership styles impact global market stability during international crises? Share your perspective in the comments.
