A project I've been quietly working on for many years finally coming to a close. I grew up with 90s Mariners baseball and Pokemon, so of course collecting baseball cards has always been a small obsession. As I matured I learned it's better to just buy the card you want instead of gambling into a pack and hoping you pull something neat.

With that in mind, and starting with a Gary Carter auto I did naturally pull from a pack when I was a kid, I've been slowly collecting the complete set of the 2000 Upper Deck Legends Legendary Signatures. With plenty of patience and seeking out great deals even for big name Half of Fame players, today, with the addition of Jose Canseco, I can happily say I've probably finished the set. I just love the monotone plaque aesthetic of the cards with the bright blue signature and dual portraits.

I say "probably finished" because there is still one missing card, but one I have never seen available or even listed anywhere, the short print Derek Jeter. I've contented myself knowing I'll likely never come across one, so this I call the collection complete. Unless... Hey @topps @upperdecksports @mlb @derekjeter, wanna give a guy a hand and spread the word?? 😁
