C¥rse me! – Activist VDM Challenges Pastor Ibiyeomie after he declared that his attackers whom he has c¥rsed are no more Social media activist VeryDarkMan has criticised the founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, over his remarks about c¥rsing people who trouble him. Ibiyeomie, speaking during a church programme, claimed that his prayers could render his critics useless, boasting about the power of his tongue. He said, “ any one who want to trouble me i c¥rse them, you have pen then get tongue. And my tongue is stronger your pen. I know what to pray that the person will be useless for life. Even those who are in political powers, when I pray against them, that’s the end.” Reacting to the video on his social media page, VeryDarkMan challenged the pastor to identify the people he claimed to have c¥rsed, describing his remarks as an attempt to intimidate critics. “Call their name. All the social media people that you have c¥rsed, call their name. I dare you to call their name. You are a liar,” he said. He further challenged Ibiyeomie to direct his alleged spiritual powers at him, saying, “Pray against me. Pray against me. I want you to c¥rse me.” The activist accused some religious leaders of using fear and manipulation to control worshippers, adding that social media had become a tool for exposing practices that previously went unchallenged. He also cited Romans 12:14, which instructs Christians to “bless them who persecute you. Bless and not c¥rse,” and Matthew 5:44, where Jesus teaches believers to pray for their enemies. VeryDarkMan further questioned why pastors who claim to possess spiritual powers to c¥rse their critics did not demonstrate such powers when churches and worshippers faced att@cks. He also accused some clerics of thre@tening members with misfortune if they failed to pay tithes and offerings. “Your powers don’t work that time. But when it is time for, ‘Oh, bring tithe,’ you start manipulating people and telling them that if they don’t pay their tithes, their life will be miserable,” he said.
