Democratic Rep. Chris Pappas defeated Republican John E. Sununu in New Hampshire’s U.S. Senate race, helping Democrats maintain a key seat in the fight for Senate control, the Associated Press said. With 20% of the vote reported, Pappas had 60% to 38% for Sununu, who served one term in the Senate more than two decades ago and is the older brother of former New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu. With his victory, Pappas will be the first openly gay man to serve in the Senate. He didn’t focus on the potential milestone during his campaign, instead emphasizing issues such as inflation and health care. Read live coverage at the link in bio.
Don Mancini, creator of Chucky, declares the horror doll would be backing Democrats, not Republicans: “Chucky has a trans kid. Chucky protects the dolls. Chucky is anti-ICE. […] Too bad, Nicki! No AI, by the way! #bluewave” #donmancini #chucky #popculture
