Help a Critically Injured Student in Gaza Evacuate and Get Medical Care!
DONATE to this specific campaign at tinyurl.com/help-hazem
MIT Mutual Aid Gaza is urgently raising money for Hazem, a brave student from Gaza who needs urgent medical help and a chance to continue his education. During a recent bombing in Gaza this month, Hazem was struck in the back by a piece of shrapnel. His injury is serious, dangerously close to his spine, and has left him with limited mobility. Medecins Sans Frontières (MSF) confirmed his condition in writing, and he is in need of extensive additional treatment and rehabilitation, which is not available in Gaza. He urgently needs to be transferred to Egypt for treatment, which is extremely costly.
We are raising $12000 to help Hazem receive life-saving treatment, support his family, and give him the chance to continue his education in a safe environment. If we raise more than our target, additional funds will support other needs of his family, who have lost all of their belongings and are currently displaced in a tent. If we don't meet the target, the money will still go to support the family's needs.
Please donate and share WIDELY among your extended community—every dollar brings Hazem closer to healing, safety, and a new beginning. 🧡
