ART COLOGNE

When in Düsseldorf… 🔥 don’t miss a powerful ceramic double act at @annalaudel.gallery.

On view until 7 June 2025, Fired Together: From One Clay, Two Vessels Form is the first comprehensive solo exhibition in Europe by Turkish duo Ertuğrul Güngör & Faruk Ertekin.

Growing up in Kütahya, a city steeped in ceramic tradition, the artists channel a shared heritage into bold, contemporary works. Expect vases ablaze with symbolism - transformation, duality, and rebirth - shaped by fire and history alike. Ottoman aesthetics meet Christian iconography, myth and memory fuse with modern design.

🧱 One clay. Two vessels. A single, unforgettable show.

📍On view at Anna Laudel, Mühlenstraße 1, Düsseldorf through 7 June 2025
