MTÜ Avastusmatkad

In 2024 MTÜ Avastusmatkad sent our first participants abroad to an Erasmus+ training course in Armenia 🇦🇲 followed by a second stage in Malta 🇲🇹. Having had a positive first experience, we continue our collaboration with existing and new partners across Europe to enable Estonian participants gain new skills and knowledge in other countries.

As part of this initiative @ultimatuminferno and @riivomasing took part in a 5 day intensive course in Targoviste, Romania 🇷🇴 called Art for EU Values. Each of the five days focused on teaching participants a specific art based approach to working with young people:
✅Day 1: Photography 📷
✅Day 2: Painting 🖌️
✅Day 3: Theater 🎭
✅Day 4: Sewing 🪡
✅Day 5: 3D modelling 🛝
"I like that after each day we had learned a practical new tool that we can implement immediately when we get back home" said Riivo upon his arrival back in Tallinn.
Anton noted that "while this was a short course, it was very focused and hands-on".

If you wish to learn more about Erasmus+, European values or Art based methods in youth work, you are welcome to send us a DM. Stay tuned for Erasmus+ offers, as we will be looking for participants for upcoming courses and youth exchanges! 🇪🇺
