Box Car Racer was about pain. Isolation.
The questions that no one had answers to.
Tom needed a new sound.
Travis needed to keep creating.
And what came out of it… was lightning in a bottle.
This press photo?
It’s not just four guys walking.
It’s a moment in time when the sound shifted,
when punk grew up,
and when a side project accidentally changed everything.

Sitting outside my dorm room, gazing at a silhouette of the girls dorm sitting on a hill in the Himalayas, with a watchful night sky covered with stars, listening to ‘watch the world’ on repeat.

I have some shirts still . Also when AvA and +44 I saw them both but it was like they were in a battle . At the +44 show the fans in the balcony threw a banner done that says “Tom sucks “
