It was an absolute pleasure to visit the Caroni Bird Sanctuary with @daralyons2021 and @ww.etcetera. Experiencing this incredible ecosystem for the first time was truly eye-opening. Our guide, Omesh from @nananbirdsanctuarytours, shared so much knowledge and made the experience unforgettable. 🌿

This 10/10 activity awakened a deep connection to nature within me, especially witnessing the flamboyance of flamingos 🦩 making a new home here. These stunning birds have migrated to the Caroni Swamp, possibly due to disturbances in their habitats in neighboring Venezuela, seeking new feeding and breeding grounds. Even more awe-inspiring was seeing the majestic Scarlet Ibis, our national bird, in all its glory. 🇹🇹
