The results are in! Following the vote across our website and Facebook group, Machka the Anatolian Shepherd Mix is officially elected the 3rd Honorary Dog Mayor of New York City, with a final tally of 4,877 votes to 4,589 votes for Dr .Computer Chips the Shih Tzu! It was an extraordinarily close race—the lead changed hands 12 times throughout the day, with a surge in voting in the last hour—but Machka’s momentum proved decisive! Dr. Computer Chips will assume the role of Machka’s right-hand pup, serving as Deputy Dog Mayor of NYC! We’ll have a fuller breakdown of the round’s results in our next Substack entry, so read and subscribe at the link in our bio! We want to extend our deepest thanks to Dr. Computer Chips and all of the pups who ran for NYC Dog Mayor—it’s a grueling process and we’re grateful to all who participated. Our gratitude extends to our followers and supporters from both NYC and around the world—over 20 countries voted in the final round alone, proving that our message of positivity, kindness, fun, and civic engagement knows no borders! But the ballot-casting isn’t over! Please get out and VOTE in today’s Human Being Election Day, to ensure that Machka isn’t the only great person elected to office this week! Machka and Dr. Chips will take the Oaf of Office at our indoguration ceremony on the steps of NY City Hall on Sunday, January 17! The ceremony will mark the Peaceful Transfer of Pawer from our current Mayor Simon, who has served with great dognity and forthrightness! And keep an eye on our Instagram, Facebook page, and our website for updated brackets, info about upcoming contests and events, and more! #DogMayorNYC
My studio now runs on @claudeai I built a system in my studio where everything you see in this video is actually possible with Claude. My calendar, email, and files are connected through Claude’s built-in connectors. My garage doors, lights, TVs, workspaces, and even my 3D printer run through custom MCP servers that Claude wrote for me, using their APIs or my local network. I can actually control it all with a small ESP32 device that sits on my desk. But I can also just talk to Claude directly via the app, which is what I’m doing here (that’s the default Claude voice you’re hearing). Let me know if you want a video walking through how this is all done! Full transparency: the responses and timing in this video is of course simulated for the edit. In real life, responses take a few seconds longer. This is Life with Claude, Episode 03. #ClaudePartner #Ad
Just think for a moment what’s possible for yourself if you really focus on a goal, on a mission. Just one thing for a year, five years, 10 years, to really build a big foundation for yourself so that you’ll never be hungry again. You’ll never be looking where to make your next dollar. You’ll never struggle to pay bills. You’ll never worry about what people say because you know your path, you know your destiny, you know your greatness, you know your worth. In life, you have to take those moments for yourself. Sometimes everyone’s running around doing so many things, they never get a chance to really think about what’s best for them. What will build their greatness? What will build their strength inside at the 39 failed companies, 600,000 in debt, bank taking my house, 25 years as a personal trainer, never really being satisfied where I’m at, I had a really dive in deep and find my passion, find my strength, find where I best fit in. I’m sharing my stories with you to shed the light. Share my miracles, share my passion, and show you what’s possible. Voice to text is Howie P. you got this
