To my best friend,

Almost 10 years ago, in 7th grade English, Shana McLain sat me next to you. I had no idea that moment would spark a friendship that would change my life. One wordly wise joke turned into a bond I can’t live without (literally,, we tried that😅). Emily, I wouldn’t be who I am without you. You’ve been my rock, the one I run to when I need a laugh, a word of advice, or a shoulder to cry on. Every single one of my favorite memories has you in it—whether it’s Disney, Scotland, Star Wars premiers, musicals, beach days, prom, the middle school awkward phase, high school AND college adventures, or graduation pt 1. And now, as we walk across the stage together one last time! I’m beyond proud of everything you’ve accomplished, the person you are, and the incredible person you’re still becoming. This may be the first time in 10 years that we won’t be side by side in the next chapter of life, but I know, no matter how many states apart we may be, the universe will always find a way to bring us back together. Thank you for being my home, my constant, and my person. I love you more than words can describe, Pander.
