If you’re over 360 days delinquent on your student loans, your loan may already be in default.

And starting May 5, federal student loan collections are resuming.

That means your tax refund and paycheck could be at risk.

The Department of Education is restarting collections after a five-year pause.

Over 5 million borrowers are already in default, and another 4 million are close behind.

Here’s what you can do:
• Call 1-800-621-3115 to discuss repayment options.
• Explore Income-Driven Repayment (IDR) plans that could lower your payment.
• Consider loan rehabilitation to remove the default from your record.
• Visit StudentAid.gov today.

This isn’t about panic; it’s about being prepared.

If this helped you, share it. Someone you know might not even realize they’re in default.
