Introducing closing duo: Yves b2b Brootworth
4:00 - 6:00
2.05.25
Yves is a DJ, activist, and co-founder of @sugar_slip collective based in Vienna. With Romanian roots and a large range of global influences, her sets fuse eerie and hard-hitting bass, polyrhythms and deconstructed sounds, hosting a charged atmosphere that challenges the dance floor.
Brootworth can be considered as test site for cybernetic experiments alternating between abstract, alienated sonic experiences, dismantled jungle and grime-infused syncopation. His [live] shows and productions are known to be ranging from fast pace and energetic to dark and deconstructed explorations - a journey through broken textures of fluttering kicks, warped vocal chops and polyrhythmic breaks.
