This moment is more than a cap and gown—it’s every tear, every prayer, every time I almost gave up but didn’t. High school has been full of laughter, learning, and lessons I never expected. I’m walking across that stage not just because I worked hard, but because of the people who carried me when I couldn’t walk on my own.

To my mom and Vance—thank you for your love, your sacrifices, and for cheering me on through every season. You’ve shown me what strength and selflessness look like. To Trevor—your constant love, encouragement, and belief in me have meant more than words can say. You’ve seen every version of me and loved them all. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to share this year with.

To every teacher, mentor, and friend who poured into me—thank you for shaping me into who I am. I will never forget the lessons you taught me, both in and out of the classroom. This is as much your win as it is mine.

“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.” – Psalm 46:5. I carried this verse with me through the hardest days, and today it feels more true than ever.
