In October 2026, roughly $3.46 trillion was wiped from the market value of AI-related stocks as the sector faced a sharp sell-off driven by growing skepticism over massive spending on AI infrastructure.

The decline intensified after earnings reports from major tech companies showed rising capital expenditures, cash burn, and slower growth in core businesses, prompting investors to question whether the AI build-out would deliver timely returns.

The Nasdaq 100 lost more than $2 trillion for the month amid the turbulence, with the sell-off accelerating in the final sessions as concerns about debt-funded expansion, higher borrowing costs, and the pace of AI profitability weighed on the broader tech trade.

The next James Bond may have just been revealed, and it looks like Callum Turner 🍸👀

Roger Friedman of Showbiz411, the reporter who broke Daniel Craig’s casting over 20 years ago, says Turner has landed the role of 007 in Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming Bond film following final screen tests in late October. Amazon MGM Studios hasn’t confirmed it yet.

Producer Amy Pascal has hinted that casting news could arrive by the end of the year, with filming expected to start in early 2027.

Is Turner your Bond? 👇
