Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus met with our Founder and CEO Dr Aqil Jaigirdar this week.

Dr Jaigirdar stated “It was an absolute honour to be invited by Professor Yunus during his official visit to the UK.

I had the privilege of sharing the work we’ve been doing at Maa - a movement powered by students and professionals, committed to tackling maternal mortality and health inequalities across Bangladesh.

Over the past 10 years, what began as a grassroots effort has grown into an international team of over 250, delivering free maternal care to more than 500,000 women.

A decade of hard work, community trust and an unshakeable belief in equitable healthcare. With one vision: To revolutionise global maternal health.

And we won’t stop until we achieve it.”
