Every official story has a Shadow Figure: a theorist, historian, or subject-matter expert with a theory on a mystery or conspiracy.

Chad Robichaux assembles a team of special operations veterans and sends them into the field to put that theory to the test. Then he brings the results back to the shadow figure and moves on to the next mystery.

Does the official story hold up? The team goes to find out.
Shadow Figures premieres Thursday, November 5.

Middle-earth could be getting its own Hogwarts Legacy-sized adventure 🧙‍♂️🗺️

A new AAA Lord of the Rings game is reportedly in development, built as a large third-person action RPG designed to compete with the massive success of Hogwarts Legacy. According to Insider Gaming, the project is backed by close to $100 million in funding from the Abu Dhabi Investment Office.

The game is said to blend story-driven exploration with RPG elements. Fans are hoping that means a huge, open Middle-earth to roam, with the chance to explore corners of Tolkien’s world that have mostly lived in the background of the books and films, rather than replaying the movies’ greatest hits.

Nothing has been officially announced yet, including who’s actually making it. What would you want to do first in an open-world Middle-earth? 👇
