A few weeks ago, Blake Stephenson, a senior Tory MP, told an audience that areas of Luton were no-go zones for white people, echoing claims made by the likes of Tommy Robinson and other far-right figures.

We went to Bury Park to find out whether it was true. And found quite the opposite: a YES-GO zone!

Even in my Union Jack suit, the welcome I received from the community was incredible. This was real community spirit, and the food was fantastic too! All offered for free.

So the question begs asking: has Blake Stephenson ever set foot in Bury Park? And if he did, would he still continue to peddle lies to fuel hatred towards the Muslim community?

What an incredible event, an incredible team and an even more incredible outcome for us all.

Знаете, когда пишешь столько лет, в какой-то момент ловишь себя на мысли: «А вдруг это никому не нужно? Вдруг слишком много, слишком личное, слишком… моё?» И хочется всё спрятать обратно в заметки.

Но потом вспоминаешь, зачем вообще начинала. Я ведь не просто хотела издать книгу. Я хотела оставить свой маленький след на земле — такой, который не смоет дождь и не сотрёт время. Не что-то грандиозное, а просто: «Я была здесь. Я чувствовала. Я думала. И мне хотелось, чтобы кто-то, кому сейчас тяжело или одиноко, открыл страницу и выдохнул: „Я не один“».

И тогда перестаёшь бояться, что «слишком много». Потому что если хоть один человек найдёт в этих строках себя — значит, всё было не зря.

В «Заметках души» — стихи о любви: о той, что шепчет, и о той, что кричит. Размышления о жизни: о том, как мы ищем себя и иногда находим в самых неожиданных местах. И афоризмы — короткие, как вспышка: они цепляют, заставляют остановиться и подумать: «Да, именно так».

Я думала, что оставить след — это построить дом, запустить проект, сделать что-то огромное. А оказалось, след можно оставить и страницей. И словами. И тихим признанием: «Я пыталась понять этот мир и себя в нём».

Моя книга наконец-то вышла ..❤️
