Happy Halloween!! Broke my thirteen-year streak of not making a costume for our local icon: the Broken Escalator at the AMC Burbank 16 ⭐️ Did it all in one night with cardboard and a shitton of duct tape, but I’m pretty happy with it! Thanks to everyone who shouted it out, and to the escalator for being broken to the point of meme-ification (but seriously @amctheatres you should fix it) #halloween #amc16 Swipe for process/captions—> 📸: @dinasauce Don’t talk to me or my son ever again First concept drawing I was gonna make my face part of the big poster but then I realized I didn’t want to do that. The beginning of a long night— made it through the trifecta of The Shining, Misery, and Carrie in the process construction zone chaos ill-conceived glasses version of the movie poster. Tried to take a selfie to see what it looked like. Failed. Finished! 📸: @davidvantuyle I chose You Can See Everything as the big poster (timely) but ironically I could not see anything when I had it up. Best part of the costume, tiny burbank Batman, 3d printed amazing friend @igowerf Hope you feel better soon, King.
SPEED WORKOUT… BUT MAKE IT DURING THE NYC MARATHON 🗽🍎🏅 WOW wow wow, my face genuinely hurts from smiling non stop. 🥹 I feel like this race gave me a new found love for running. You guys made me feel SO special out there & I am SO thankful for each and everyone of you who cheered for me yesterday!! 🥹 Really shocked myself with this one. Didn’t look at my elapsed pace or average pace the entire 26.2 miles. I just focused on my speed workout, posting on my story in real time lol (had to share this experience with you guys), & truly having FUN!!! 🥳 Needed this confidence boost sooo bad going into CIM. 😌 3:16:18 & BQ #6 Thank you SO much for this opportunity @endorphinsrunning & @newbalance 🥺 As always, you can use code MAKAYLA for 2 weeks free training! ⚡️ WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY!!! T-5 weeks till I attempt a new PR!! 😱 #nyc #nycmarathon #newyork #newyorkmarathon
