Pop culture gave us YOLO, “You Only Live Once,” a motto that pushes people to chase thrill, take risks, and indulge, often without thinking about the consequences. And sure, there’s some truth there. You do only live this earthly life once.
But that’s only half the story.
The full truth is this. You Only Live Twice. Once here on earth, and once in eternity. And how you live this short life determines how you’ll live forever.
Yes, enjoy life. Travel. Build memories. Laugh often. But don’t forget, every choice has consequences. And that’s not a bad thing. Consequences can be positive or negative, temporary or eternal.
So next time someone says “YOLO,” respond with something deeper.
Nah, I live twice. #YOLT
📖 “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.”
Hebrews 9:27 (ESV)
