Sloth

Today is International Sloth Day! It’s amazing getting to work with Lightning, Moe and Juno every day. People loves sloths so when sharing about them, it’s also important to bring to light what these animals are facing in the wild. Besides expansive deforestation, the already-dwindling sloth populations are also struggling due to poaching and trafficking. Every year, hundreds and hundreds of baby sloths are taken and illegally sold to tourists as pets. With sloth populations in steady decline, it’s important to love sloths in a productive and sustainable way! Moe and Lightning are a part of the SSP (Species Survival Plan) and now Juno will help in the future!
