Today, and every year on June 18th, my attention turns to an outright favorite person in my life: My sister, @livrodz

Lixann is one firework after another. A relentless display of spark, wit and beauty in the night sky. She’s that before midnight countdown on a New Year’s Eve. The kind of anxious anticipation that brings all the excitement and all the comfort of knowing that everything will be alright when the clock hits midnight as long as she’s by your side; by my side.

To say I have admired this woman since I was an annoying, troubled, little brother chasing her with a knife around the house is an understatement. To this day, I look at her in awe and think she is the absolute coolest person I know. So unapologetically herself. She doesn’t put effort to impress anybody because her presence alone stuns everybody the minute she enters a room. And I’m so incredibly lucky to have her in my corner and call her my sister. To continue to learn from her; live through her. Because she devours and enjoys life every second she gets a chance to, leaving no leftovers and with the kind of incandescent light and grounded toughness necessary to navigate this insane world.

So as the sun sets this afternoon, join me in wishing her the Happiest of Birthdays!
Burn the house down, Lixann, fuck it!
