MY NEXT BIG CHALLENGE 🚴♂️
While I've been motoring across Asia and Europe during @heroerarally's Peking to Paris, I've been grabbing every chance I can to train for my next big challenge: my third go at L’Étape (@letapedutour), where one of the mountain stages of the @letourdefrance is opened up to amateur cyclists.
I'm doing it with my friend @anthonydash. And just before I left for China, Dashy and I had a punishing weekend of training in Wales.

This year’s L’Étape takes place on the slopes of the Alps - 131 kilometres, 4,500 metres of ascent, and five gargantuan climbs. It's on 20 July, less than four weeks after I get back from Peking to Paris!
🙏 I'm very worried I'm not going to be anywhere near fit enough. If you can offer me any encouragement, I'd be grateful!

A lot of cyclists love Cadaques, Rosas etc because of the roads and it’s between France and Spain, lovely area.

@johncaudwell next time, I recommend you continue towards the North-West coast (Porthdinllaen!)
