GOD, I THANK YOU. When I said no, you said YES. When I was stripped of everything, you blessed me with things unexplainable When I brought you pieces, you made them whole!, every door that closed, you opened a house instead!
MY GOD, I thank you; my faith has never been so strong.
You’ve kept me! You’ve led me, and you’ve trusted me to help others! I thank you. I will not mismanage my blessings! Thank you for making my tests into testimonies!
A long and challenging year filled with sleepless nights, hard work, endless tears, and sacrifices.
Working 40+ hours a week, with 12 hour clinicals all while being a full-time student earning one of the hardest degrees in the world wasn’t easy, but I did it.
My family, friends, instructors, and classmates that have supported me, I love you. Thank you for letting me cry when needed, thank you for praying for me, thank you for encouraging me, thank you for believing in me and telling me things I didn’t want to hear. Thank you for allowing me to be in your life from prerequisites to nursing school!
Fast forward to today; as I stand here as a 23-year-old woman, I will give my life to nursing. I will walk in the footsteps of the beautiful women and men that made this possible for me. I will be an example, as I know taking on this role will require me to do a complete 360 of my life!
