Livewire is finally public!
The livery on @jimbeaver15's all-new @fordelectric Mach-E Rally took months to dial in. It started as a tribute to @fordperformance's rally history with a big set of RS200 stripes on the side and Martini stripes on the hood. It was a hodgepodge of ideas that frankly didn't blend well. Back to clean sheet.
I then focused hard on the #Livewire build's namesake member of DC's rogues gallery, digging through tons of her appearances in random issues starring the bat-family.
I settled in on a pattern of lightning bolts inspired by the symbol that Livewire wears infused with a blue, purple, and maroon nebula.
Finally the true inspiration hit in a way that let me combine both livery ideas and out came Livewire's lightning-infused RS200 livery overlay. And wow do they pop so well against the underlying pattern.
Overall, I'm so happy with how this car turned out, and I absolutely loved hearing about the positive reception the car received this weekend at @electrify_expo.
Here's to seeing the raddest street-legal Mach-E on tour!
