A few weeks ago, Blake Stephenson, a senior Tory MP, told an audience that areas of Luton were no-go zones for white people, echoing claims made by the likes of Tommy Robinson and other far-right figures. We went to Bury Park to find out whether it was true. And found quite the opposite: a YES-GO zone! Even in my Union Jack suit, the welcome I received from the community was incredible. This was real community spirit, and the food was fantastic too! All offered for free. So the question begs asking: has Blake Stephenson ever set foot in Bury Park? And if he did, would he still continue to peddle lies to fuel hatred towards the Muslim community? #Luton #racism #hate #community
How to Make Citrus Supremes 🍋‍🟩🍋🍊 - KNIFE CUTS EVERY COOK SHOULD KNOW - ep. 5 FULL INSTRUCTIONS ⬇️ 1. Find the stem end of your citrus, and cut off just enough to expose the flesh of the fruit (cut off LESS than I did in the video - I went a bit overboard!). Repeat with the other end of the fruit opposite the stem. 2. From here, place your fruit on the cutting board with one of the cut-sides down. Start shaving off the skin of the fruit, removing many smaller strips as to keep the rounded shape of the fruit. 3. Once you have your skinless citrus, you will notice that each segment is now visible, with thin, white membranes in between them. Cut into the fruit, along the membranes, to release each perfect segment. Try to keep your knife flush with the membranes to ensure the best yield possible. There are two "methods" to do this, which I demonstrated in the video. 4. Once all of your supremes have been cut, squeeze out any remaining juice in your trims to help store your supremes without them drying out. Alternatively, you can use the juice in a dressing or marinade! #citrus #supreme #segment #knifeskills #technique
HU Staff: Kecia Gayle @kecia.kae On the eve of Election Day, Stockton Councilwoman Michele Padilla is facing public criticism from the mother of Amari Peterson, a child murdered in the November 29, 2025, mass shooting in North Stockton. The grieving mother alleges that Padilla never contacted her family and recently blocked her on Facebook after she repeatedly sought acknowledgment and answers. ___________________________________________________ The allegations have added a deeply personal dimension to Stockton’s District 1 election, where Padilla faces challenger Tamica Small, a retired probation officer with 22 years of experience and a mother of three. ___________________________________________________ With the first anniversary of the mass shooting approaching, Amari’s mother says her family continues to live with unanswered questions and the absence of meaningful support from the councilwoman representing the district where her son was killed. “Not once have you reached out to me or my family,” she wrote on Facebook. “Not once have you acknowledged the pain our family continues to live with or answered the questions I’ve repeatedly asked.” ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸
