Malawi ❤️

There are no words capable of describing the amount of joy this trip brought me. The connections we were able to form were beyond imagination, and leaving was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

The word our team chose to describe the trip was bittersweet — sweet in every way possible, from the people, the adventures, and the joy we found there; bitter because we had to say goodbye, not only to our new friends in Malawi but to our team as well.

Getting to witness the amount of love shown by everyone we met was incredible. There wasn’t a single place you could look and not see God at work, or His love shining through — even in the darkest moments. The volume at which they sing praises echoes for miles and brings goosebumps.

I didn’t quite know what to expect when I left for this trip, but now that I’m back, I can’t imagine spending those two weeks any other way.
