The jump from 2 to 3 years old is WILD 🥹♥️ Watching my toddlers become more independent has been one of my proudest moments as a mom! Here are 7 Montessori-inspired things we’ve introduced in our home to help raise confident, independent little humans 1. A working play kitchen sink for washing hands and dishes 2. Their own cleaning supplies to help around the house 3. A child-height bookshelf to encourage independent reading 4. An accessible closet so they can pick out their own clothes 5. An indoor climbing gym to build confidence and coordination 6. A home for every toy to encourage cleaning up 7. Daily family nature walks to explore and make little choices Are we doing all of this perfectly? Absolutely not! 😂 But consistency is key. We’re slowly introducing one little thing at a time and practicing it daily. It’s amazing what toddlers are capable of when we give them the opportunity to try!
