This means a lot. Being named one of the National Bar Association’s Top 40 Under 40 Lawyers feels like a full-circle moment. Not because I didn’t believe in myself, but because they were one of the first.

When I was a law student, the NBA gave me a scholarship that helped me stay in school. But what mattered even more was what it signaled. That I was seen. That I was worthy. That I belonged in this profession. That belief came at a time when I needed it most. And the fact that they still see me, all these years later, moves me more than I can say.

This honor is not just a milestone, it’s fuel. Fuel to keep showing up for the next generation. To keep building pathways. To keep doing the work with integrity, excellence, and vision.

This is such an exciting moment. And if there is any secret to it, it’s this: hard work matters, but doing it with community behind you makes all the difference.

Thank you to the National Bar Association for seeing me then and now. Thank you to every mentor, sister, and sponsor who’s helped me carry the load. The journey continues—and I’m just getting started!
