Inky Montaine

I didn’t even know what DTIYS meant until a couple weeks ago, but I love them! My buddies @sourix77 and @4sh_n1 inspired me, then I did one of @quangartportal’s and @sophiejinny’s and I’m sure I’ll do more. If you see any that you would like me to do a version of, totally point me to them! Anyway, I decided to host one myself after @sourix77 ‘s kind encouragement:)

Here are some of my original characters: Tommy and her doggo Eldon Scruffington IV!

Rulez:

—Tag me: @theinkmountain

—Can follow if you want. But PLEASE try to check out everybody who enters a piece! It really is a cool way to meet people and see new art:)

—Tag #inkydtiys1

—Put this OG piece in there somewhere!

—Try to make Tommy and Eldon somewhat recognizable. Haha.

—As far as tracing or AI goes, you can if you reeeeeeally want, especially if you aren’t physically able to create another way, but CLEARLY LABEL your piece ON THE IMAGE ITSELF if it is AI! And be prepared for what might be some not super happy reactions from people! You have been warned, my friend:)

—If you don’t draw, you can paint or sculpt or animate or whatever. Cosplay as Tommy! Or dress up your friend if you are a photographer! Or if you make music, you can make a song about Tommy and Eldon! Hell, If you write you could make a poem or a piece of fiction about them. But if you go the writing route, seriously reference the character and their animal friend and the setting and keep it suuuuuper short. No trunk novels or stories, bud! Haha. I know this kind of stretches the concept of “drawing,” but to me all creativity is the same thing: an attempt to connect.

So let’s connect:)

First prize is four billion fucking dollars! Just kidding;D Not going to judge anything, no votes or whatever. But I will come up with ways to celebrate everyone.

No deadline for now.

Have fun and thanks, friend!

Lovvvvvvve yooooou! :)lml
